FANTASTIC
WINGED
AVENGER

He flies the skyline. The robot files the report. Capes, searchlights, and a clipboard that never drops — even at terminal velocity.

A masked pulp avenger in a crimson cape flies over a dusk city skyline, gripping the hand of a brass robot sidekick whose clipboard papers scatter in the wind.
COVER SPLASH — CITY AT DUSK, CLIPBOARD ALOFT

THE LINEUP

Cape, skyline, sidekick

Pulp justice is a two-body problem: one man in a mask, one machine with a clipboard. The city supplies the searchlights.

A small brass-and-navy robot with glowing amber eyes, mechanical bat wings, a maroon cape, and a gold gear-and-lightning badge, hovering against a sunset sky.
UNIT CLIP-3 — WINGS OPTIONAL, STAMP REQUIRED

THE AVENGER

Mask. Cape. Deadline.

Flies first, talks never. Known to the papers as a blur over the elevated tracks. Known to CLIP-3 as the signature that always arrives late.

THE SIDEKICK

CLIP-3, clerk of the air

Brass joints, bow tie, bat-wing servos. Holds the clipboard through g-forces that would lose a lesser intern. Files in triplicate because villains appeal.

THE CITY

Skyline with a paper trail

Searchlights, elevated trains, unpaid invoices taped to lampposts. Crime happens at dusk. The docket closes at dawn.

The Fantastic Winged Avenger and brass robot CLIP-3 soar hand-in-hand above neon streets and an elevated train, loose forms and a villain sketch tumbling from the robot's clipboard.
REEL STILL — FORMS IN FLIGHT, NOT A DRILL

WHY THE CLIPBOARD

Punch first. File always.

Pulp heroes forget the aftermath. CLIP-3 does not. Every rooftop brawl becomes a timestamped incident, a witness list, and a note about whose cape is at the cleaner. The city sleeps. The carbon copies do not.

If you hear a typewriter at two thousand feet, that is not thunder. That is due process with wings.

INCIDENTS ON FILE

The public docket

Carbon copies recovered from CLIP-3's clipboard after a hard landing. Names redacted. Stamps authentic.

FORM 12-A

The Pier-9 fog job

Avenger intercepted the smuggler's zeppelin at 400 feet. Sidekick CLIP-3 logged wind speed, cargo weight, and three unpaid dock invoices. Villain escaped. Paperwork did not.

FORM 12-B

Clocktower overtime

Cape snagged the minute hand at 11:59. City saved. CLIP-3 filed a variance for after-hours flight and a damage claim for one brass pinion. Approved, pending hero initials.

FORM 12-C

Alley of unpaid dues

Fistfight, three thugs, one fire escape. CLIP-3 produced waivers mid-air. Two thugs signed. The third asked for a carbon copy. Justice, notarized.

STANDING ORDERS

How to hail the Avenger

  1. 01

    Look up

If a crimson cape occludes the moon, stand clear of the fire escape. The landing is dramatic. The clipboard is heavier.

  2. 02

    Sign where indicated

The robot sidekick will present a docket. Initial the incident. Do not argue about the carbon. It is already in triplicate.

  3. 03

    Do not offer coffee

The Avenger does not stop. CLIP-3 will accept a stamp pad. Refill the red ink. Villains hate wet stamps.

THE CAPE IS UP. THE DOCKET IS OPEN.

A pulp splash for the machine age, kept in The Robot Lives portfolio. No waitlist. No origin issue you can buy here. Watch the skyline anyway.
